Terms & Conditions of Sale

1. Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) govern the sale of books on the website ruedeslivres.com, hereinafter referred to as "the Site", published by Epytis LLC.
2. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes. The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of order confirmation. Books are subject to France's fixed book price law (Loi Lang).
3. Orders
The customer confirms their order through online payment. An order confirmation is sent by email. The Site reserves the right to refuse any order for legitimate reasons.
4. Payment
Payment is made by credit card via the secure Stripe platform. The amount is charged at the time of order confirmation.
5. Delivery
Books are shipped via Colissimo (La Poste). Delivery times are given as estimates. Rue des Livres cannot be held responsible for delivery delays attributable to the carrier.
6. Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with the French Consumer Code, the customer has 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without needing to provide reasons or pay penalties. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
7. Warranty
Books benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects. In the event of a defective product, the customer may request a replacement or refund by contacting customer service.
8. Personal Data

9. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site (text, images, logo, database) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, even partial, is prohibited without prior authorisation.
10. Liability
Rue des Livres endeavours to describe the books offered for sale as accurately as possible. The Site cannot be held liable for inconveniences or damages related to the use of the Internet.
11. Applicable Law
These T&Cs are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
