About Rue des Livres

Rue des Livres is an online bookstore network dedicated to French-language books. Our mission is to make francophone literature accessible worldwide, bringing together booksellers, publishers and readers around a catalogue of over one million titles.

Our Values

Editorial Diversity — We champion a vast and eclectic catalogue, from great classics to the most recent independent publications.

Accessibility — Worldwide delivery so every French speaker can find their next book, wherever they are.

Discovery — Themed selections and search by category to explore beyond the beaten path.

A Network, Not a Warehouse

Unlike large platforms, Rue des Livres relies on a network of partner bookstores. Every order helps support independent bookselling.
